Sat Jul 26 2025	Optional - Last Splash City Qualifying Meet Hampton Virginia Aquaplex Start: 9:00 AM Last Splash – Optional Opportunity to Qualify This is a new event organized by GPSA. It is OPTIONAL for any Barracuda who wants to try and qualify for the City Meet. Important note: If your swimmer participates, a parent volunteer is REQUIRED to help during the event, or the swimmer cannot participate.
Wed Jul 23 2025	Dinner for Breakfast - All You Can Eat Poquoson Pool Start: 7:00 PM End: 8:00 PM Take the night off from cooking this Wednesday, July 23, and join us at the pool for Breakfast for Dinner! Each year, our Boosters host a fun and delicious Pancake Dinner during the final week of practice — a perfect way to fuel up before the Last Splash this weekend. Here are the details: $5 per person – All-you-can-eat pancakes and bacon Dinner will be served after each practice Swimmers and families are all welcome to join Come hungry and ready to celebrate another great season.

While no team points are awarded, all swim times do count toward City Meet qualification. Wed Jul 16 2025	Maroon & Gold Charity Meet to Benefit Poquoson, Hampton & York Fire Dept. Poquoson Barracudas Start: 5:00 PM Maroon & Gold Charity Meet – Fun, Friendly Competition for a Great Cause The 2025 charity event will raise money for the Poquoson, York County and Hampton Fire Departments. We do this in honor of the McLellon family. Our annual charity event is a highlight of the season! The team is split into Team Maroon and Team Gold, competing in both standard swim events and a few fun extras! Special Appearance by Poquoson Fire Department – Get an up-close look at a firetruck and ambulance! Cash or Check (payable to PBBC and memo/1st responder donation) accepted. Place them in your swimmers team box. We will award one point for every dollar earned. Thank You Card Station – Kids will make heartfelt notes for our first responders. 5 points per card. Cards distributed with the donation to the departments. Costume Contest – Dress to impress in your best/. Prizes for bet Maroon and Best Gold outfit! Total points award per team for all participants. Concessions – Enjoy pizza and more tasty treats while supporting a great cause.

Thu Jun 19 2025	Team Pictures Poquoson Barracudas Start: 6:00 PM Team Picture Day – Thursday, June 19 at 6:00 PM Picture Perfect Photography will take team and optional individual photos on Thursday, June 19 at 6:00 PM. Swimmers should wear black swimsuits, if possible. We have a large team with more than 100 swimmers and coaches! To make picture day run smoothly, we ask that you download (the link on the home page under upcoming events), print and complete the order form. Bring the completed form and payment with you on picture day. Orders will not be accepted without payment. The photographer accepts Cash (exact change appreciated), Credit Cards and Checks (Payable to PPP). 📸 Important Note: In case of inclement weather, we will coordinate with the photographer to reschedule.
